The man behind the work
Paul Dalton has been doing
this since 1988.
He started at 13, washing cars for pocket money as a sponsored mountain biker in Surrey. The first car he properly remembers detailing was an Astra Mk2 GTE for a neighbour. He founded Miracle Detail in 1994.
More than three decades and 10,000 cars later, he still does every car himself — no apprentices, no second pair of hands. Feynlab made him their only global ambassador worldwide. His work has appeared on Fifth Gear, Motorheads, German broadcaster RTL and Nippon Television in Japan, and been covered by seven national newspapers.

A new studio.
Three decades in the making.
In July 2026, Miracle Detail opens a new purpose-built studio in Lingfield, Surrey. Climate controlled, with a dedicated light tunnel, separate correction and PPF bays, a dedicated dry ice and industrial underside coating bay, and smart lighting throughout.
